So, I've been putting off starting a blog. I'm not really sure why...I guess I didn't feel it was time yet. Why do I think it's time now?? I have no idea. I just thought...what the heck, let's go for it.
If you don't know me, you're probably wondering, "Hey! What's this blog about??" Well, let me tell you. It's about our Venture to Vietnam to adopt our infant daughter. Currently, I'm finishing up our paperchase, getting all the ducks in a row, and we should have our paperwork to Vietnam in about two weeks. I'll explain more about the paperwork process and why we chose Vietnam to adopt in later posts. But for now, I'll leave it as that, and welcome you all to our venture, and my blog. Enjoy!!

- My name is Michelle and I live in Northern Minnesota with my goofy, but loveable, husband Mikey, and our adopted daughter Maelie from Vietnam. We currently have four Yorkies and two cats. Mike works as a sales representative for a company that sells parts and heavy machinery to mines around the world. I am (finally!) a stay at home mom. And loving every minute of it.
